Hands-on manager, I was managing the team in charge of the iOS and macOS apps, as well as contributing to the project integrated in development teams.

iOS Development Teacher @ Université Pierre et Marie Curie

Alongside my regular work, I teach iOS development to bachelor students following a professional course.

The unit introduces mobile development on iOS with Swift, in the context of recent development technologie. It includes a server-side (web development, API conception) and a client-side (iOS app) section.

First tech employee at Brut, I was in charge of the mobile apps.

Development and maintenance of the iOS apps of Trainline Europe (formerly Captain Train) and Trainline UK.

Leading the mobile team of Paris office (up to 8 peoples including iOS, Android and QA engineers).

Leading an international squad across Paris and London offices.

iOS Developer @ MWM

September 2012 to November 2015 – Boulogne-Billancourt, France

MWM (formerly DJiT) is an innovative start-up developing musical and social apps and hardware. It’s flagship application, edjing, is a leader in mix applications and reached 25 millions downloads in early 2015.

On a team of five developers, I was in charge of:

  • Developing edjing and edjing Pro on iOS. This includes the development of an iPad version, WatchKit extensions and continuous work to enhance the application on all devices and build new features.
  • Developing and maintaining the other musical applications of DJiT.
  • Researching for unreleased projects, in various fields of programming.

Web Developer @ Fantasy.fr

September 2011 to August 2012 – Paris, France

Fantasy.fr is a news website about Sci-Fi and Fantasy. It is affiliated to Bragelonne, a well-known French editor of this genre of literature. In 2011, Fantasy.fr had an audience of 160 000 unique visitors per month.

In collaboration with the chief editor, I worked on the development of the website. My key projects were the creation of an automated newsletter, the deployment of a blog platform and a complete visual enhancement of Fantasy.fr.

Technologies: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and LAMP server administration.

Development

  • Swift, Objective-C: Used to work with both languages and to leverage their specificities.
  • SwiftUI, UIKit, AppKit: During my years at Dashlane I mostly worked with SwiftUI, but kept using UIKit for some personal projects.
  • iOS, iPadOS macOS, watchOS, tvOS: iOS is my main focus, but I'm used to develop on all Apple platforms.
  • Continuous Integration: Extensive knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and scripting/testing tools used in the Apple world.

DANT (Applications Developer, New Technologies) is an apprenticeship course, that leads to a Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, strongly targeting development.

Followed topics: Software engineering, Advanced Java, Web development, Networking, Databases, and Client/serveur architecture.

Hobbies

[Ultra-]endurance sports enthusiast. I participated in multiple trail-runnning races since 2015 up to 110 km, and also practices cycling and cross-country skiing.

Coordinator of La Rustine de Nanterre, a local association/non-profit promoting cycling as a transportation mean.

Co-founder and host of the audio webshow Poligeek, talking links between politics and high-tech between 2010 and 2016. Poligeek reached a regular audience of 10 000 downloads per issue.

Regular contributor to OpenStreetMap.
